Reserve-team goalkeeper Matthew Urwin has signed a short-term loan deal with Taunton Town.
The 18-year-old stopper linked up with the Evo-stick Southern League side on a youth loan on an initial month-long deal and made his debut for the Peacocks on Saturday away at Cirencester Town.
Urwin was kept busy throughout as Taunton lost the match 2-1.
"I was delighted to be playing first team football," said Urwin of the experience. "It was a very physical game, much tougher than I anticipated but I really enjoyed the experience.
"Hopefully the month down here in Somerset will help me progress as a footballer."
Taunton are next in action this Saturday when they play Chesham United in an FA Trophy 2nd qualifier.
