A bug in the camp robbed the Rovers boss of Josh King, Lee Williamson and Nuno Gomes from last Monday's match at Cardiff City, but all three are now fit and well and ready to face the Owls at Hillsborough.
Speaking on Thursday, Bowyer said: "We've had some good news in that Josh King, Nuno Gomes and Lee Williamson are all back from illness.
"We've also one or two others who are very close to being back fully fit. The two Olsson's aren't too far away from returning soon."
It was confirmed on Wednesday that goalkeepers Jake Kean and Paul Robinson would be ruled out for the remainder of the season, but Bowyer has every confidence that Grzegorz Sandomierski will impress between the sticks for the final seven matches of the 2012-13 campaign.
"We've got every confidence in Grzeg, he's a Polish international. I thought he did well when he came on in difficult circumstances," added Bowyer.
"You saw his temperament at Cardiff, there is no tougher place to make your debut in the cauldren that it was and how the team was performing on that day.
"I thought he made one excellent save in particular and if you look at the goals one was a penalty and the other was poor defending.
"So he will be fine, he's a confident lad, he's a great size and like I said, he's a Polish international so he's got some experience behind him."
Dickson Etuhu (knee), Bradley Orr (ribs) and Adam Henley (hamstring) remain sidelined therefore Bowyer is expected to choose from: Sandomierski, Usai, Kane, Dann, Hanley, Morris, Givet, Rekik, Dunn, Lowe, Jones, Stewart, Bentley, Murphy, King, Williamson, Pedersen, Best, Rhodes, Nuno Gomes, Goodwillie, Kazim-Richards.
