Michael Appleton's lengthy injury list sees no sign of reducing ahead of Sunday's clash with Burnley.
The Rovers boss could be without up to ten first team players for the big lunchtime kick-off at Ewood.
Appleton is hopeful that the two players who were substituted against Millwall in midweek - Josh King and Markus Olsson - could make it back in time. They'll be given as long as possible to make the Lancashire derby.
Speaking on Friday morning, Appleton said: "I think maybe Josh King and Markus Olsson, who came off with injuries on Wednesday night, are the only ones with a chance of making Sunday.
"Speaking to Dave Fevre, between the first team and the Under-21s we are up to 20 players in the medical room at the minute. He tells me that in the 13 years that he's been here that he's never got anywhere near that, so that's been quite difficult.
"I think out of that 20, there is probably ten of them who are first team players in there so it is backs against the walls but I think in situations like this it is quite easy to thrive on that and make sure you make the most of it.
"Once we get the Blackpool and Cardiff games out of the way then we might be a bit closer with a few of the others."
The manager is expected to select from: Kean, Sandomierski, Lowe, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Markus Olsson, King, Dunn, Pedersen, Jones, Stewart, Rhodes, Best, Nuno Gomes, Givet, Goodwillie, Morris, Rekik, O'Sullivan.
