As Rovers approach the pivotal point of the season, boss Gary Bowyer knows the importance of claiming points wherever they can.

Saturday's match against Leicester City starts a spell of games that will determine how the season shapes up.

"We've got a difficult period coming up," admitted Bowyer. "We've got the Leicester game followed by six games in three weeks.

"Once we've gone through that then we'll have a clear idea of where we are going to be and what we can achieve.

"That said, after those six games, there'll be four left and the Championship being the Championship, anything can happen.

"So we've got a lot to still fight for, we've got bodies coming back, there's a lot of positivity around the place after last Saturday's game and now we are really looking forward to this weekend's game.

"We went through a sticky period where we hadn't won, but the player's attitude and application was spot on throughout that time.

"It is an old adage but hard works gets you there in the end, that is what they've continued to do and we're delighted."
