Taking nothing for granted

Gary Bowyer has dismissed suggestions that today's Sky Bet Championship clash with Charlton Athletic is a home banker.

Following the international break, Rovers are back in action this Saturday with a match against Chris Powell's side, but Bowyer believes that even though the Addicks may be fourth from bottom going into today's clash, history has shown that there are no easy matches in this division.

"I just think you can't foresee anything in the Championship," said the Rovers boss. "Last season taught us that.

"You look at it already this season, there are some games where you are thinking they can't beat them, and they go and win.

"So I know it is a cliché but you have to take each game as it comes, you really do.

"No matter what form any team is in you've got to treat each game the same.

"We've got to make sure that we go about our game in the way we've been playing recently. To focus on that and forget about everything else.

"I think consistency all along is the key to any team doing well in the Championship and we are no different."

Tickets for today's match will be on sale until the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors.
