As they prepare to take on Yeovil Town at Ewood Park this Friday afternoon, midfielder Jason Lowe maintains the belief that Rovers can still reach the coveted play-off places.

Rovers go into the Good Friday clash just four points off sixth place Reading, with four games remaining.

The squad is high on confidence having gone eight games unbeaten, with Lowe admitting they've four cup finals remaining if they are to reach the top six.

"Obviously you want to be at the top of the league but if someone said there'd be four games left and you need to make up four points then I'd have taken that.

"By no means is it over, we are going to keep pushing and if we can take maximum points then that is all we can do.

"Anything can happen between now and the end of the season, we know that. If we take care of our own business then anything can happen.

"So we are going to be confident, we are going to keep going and give everything that we've got. They are four big games, four cup finals for us. We've just got to go into every single one with the mentality of winning and hopefully we can do that."

The midfielder knows that it will be far from easy against a Glovers side fighting to remaining in the Sky Bet Championship.

"We know that Yeovil on Friday aren't going to come up and just roll over," added Lowe. "It is going to be a fight, we are going to have to dig in and put in a good performance and get the win.

"It is one game at a time, we've to take care of business on Friday and then move onto the next one."
