Six Rovers starlets in Lancs squad

Blackburn Rovers will be well represented in tonight’s English Schools FA Inter-Counties Trophy quarter-final tie between Lancashire and Merseyside.

Six players from Rovers’ Girls Centre of Excellence have been named in the Lancashire Under-14 Schoolgirls squad for the game at Blackpool Wren Rovers, kick-off 7.30pm.  

Justine Elliott, Katie Samuels, Natasha Fenton, Olivia Hooper, Megan Hester and Brenna McPartlin have all been named in the 16-player squad, who are vying to reach the national semi-finals of the prestigious county cup competition.

All supporters are welcome, prices are £2.50 for adults and £2 for concessions.
