Rovers' Under-21s will take on Bury in the last eight of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.

Following the withdrawal of Accrington Stanley from this season’s competition, Rovers will now face the Shakers in the quarter-finals.

Bury were initially drawn as the home team, but it has been agreed that the tie will take place at Rovers' Senior Training Centre at Brockhall, on Wednesday 2nd April, kick-off 1.00 pm.

The winners face an away match against Burnley in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile a new date for the Barclays Under-21 Premier League clash with West Ham United has been confirmed.

Rovers were due to take on the Hammers at the Rush Green Stadium, Romford on Friday 31st January but the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The match will now take place at the same venue on Friday 11th April with a 7.00pm kick-off.
