The club's lengthy injury list shows no signs of reducing with the match at the Reebok coming too soon for a number of players. So the whilst the manager might make changes to his starting eleven after the weekend performance, it is likely that it will still be the same squad that travels.
"At the end of the day not one of the injured lads have trained yet," admitted the manager.
"We are here a day before the game on a Monday and not one of the injured lads has trained yet so Tuesday's game is a little bit too soon for them.
"We've an important cup tie at the weekend and we'll need some sort of miracle cure to get them involved on Sunday but I know, I've been a player myself, I've worked with players who once they feel they are right they want that opportunity.
"So lets get Tuesday's game out of the way as such, it is a big game for us, I want a reaction from Saturday."
David Bentley was ill at the weekend but is expected to have recovered in time for the match at the Reebok.
The manager is expected to select from: Kean, Orr, Dann, Hanley, Rekik, Bentley, Lowe, Murphy, Markus Olsson, Campbell, Rhodes, Sandomierski, Givet, Pedersen, Nuno Gomes, Morris, Goodwillie, Henley, Stewart, Jones.
Tickets for the match are only now available at the Reebok on the day of the game, cash only from the turnstiles from 7pm. Prices are £15 for Adults, £5 for Seniors and Under-21s.
