Jason Lowe wants Rovers to follow up their impressive display against Watford with a similar performance against Wigan Athletic later today.

Rovers defeated the highly-fancied Hornets 1-0 on Tuesday night after Jordan Rhodes netted his 9th goal of the season.

Now as they prepare to take the short trip to the DW Stadium, Lowe believes that Rovers are a team on the up and full of confidence.

"It is a good spell for us and hopefully we are going in the right direction," Lowe told Radio Rovers.

"Confidence is going right through the club at the moment and we just need to keep working hard. keep focus and try to take each game as it comes.

"We've set the benchmark now so hopefully we can go on and reproduce that at Wigan.

"I think there is still more to come, you are always learning, but as a group I think we have a very good set of lads now.

"We are covering for each other, backing each other up, in and out of possession. It is a very good team at the moment.

"We all get on well off the pitch and I think you can see that on the pitch as well. The morale is great and that just allows you to go and feel confident next to your mate out there.

"We aren't going to get carried away, we'll keep working hard and stay focused."

See Lowe and Rovers in action this Sunday when they take on Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.

Tickets are available from the ground priced at £20 Adults, £15 Seniors and 16-21 year-olds, and £10 for Under-16s.
