Blackburn Rovers Ladies FC, which was formed in 1991 and has enjoyed success at the highest level of the ladies football pyramid, is looking to recruit a club coach.

Playing in the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division, Blackburn Rovers LFC have had a successful season - finishing fourth in the league, reaching the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup, quarter-finals of the FA Women's Cup and retaining the Lancashire County Cup.

The club coach will work with both the Ladies first team and reserve team, alongside the Ladies manager. This will include a combination of both technical and tactical sessions, shape work and fitness session (working with the sport science team).

The Ladies team operates under the supervision of Blackburn Rovers Football and Athletic PLC. The Ladies train twice per week (Tuesday and Friday evenings) and play on Sunday afternoons. The successful candidate must be available and willing to attend all sessions and matches.

Applicants must possess a minimum of the Level 3 coaching award and preferably be working towards or have attained the FA age appropriate awards. The candidate must also possess an up-to-date safeguarding children and first aid qualification. Blackburn Rovers FC will undertake an enhanced CRB disclosure once appointed.

The position will commence in July 2012, ahead of the 2012-13 season.

Although a voluntary position, Blackburn Rovers FC offer a generous training package, ensuring we optimise potential for both staff and players concerned.
