Steve Kean's side face Go Ahead Eagles in Deventer this evening (kick-off 8pm), before travelling to NEC Nijmegen on Sunday.
The manager will be without striker Leon Best, who suffered a serious knee injury in last weekend's game against AEK Athens.
And the Rovers boss will be keen to avoid any further setbacks during the Dutch leg of our pre-season preparations, with the big Championship kick-off now just two weeks away.
Go Ahead Eagles finished mid-table in the Dutch second division last season and will provide Rovers with another competitive close-season workout.
The game will also provide Portuguese quartet Nuno Gomes, Fabio Nunes, Paulo Jorge and Edinho with a further opportunity to find their feet amidst their new squad.
