Ewood Park plays host to Rovers' Reserve team this Friday evening when they take on Norwich City in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League.
Gary Bowyer's side go into the game against the Canaries in decent form, building on a worthy win over West Bromwich Albion with a useful point against Arsenal last time out.
The majority of the Under-21 squad have tasted action at Ewood Park following last season's run to the FA Youth Cup final, but nevertheless Bowyer knows that it will be good for the lads to experience it once more.
"It will be great to play there," said Bowyer. "When we can get on Ewood it is always good for the lads because ultimately that is where they are trying to get to."
Rovers go into the game looking to avenge a 3-1 defeat when the two sides met back in August.
It had started well in the first Under-21 match of the season when Raheem Hanley put Rovers in front but the home side rallied with three unanswered goals to clinch the win.
"We played very well at Norwich for 20 minutes, probably some of the best football we've played," added the Reserve team boss.
"Then we conceded an equaliser and after that we didn't do ourselves justice so we'll be looking to put that right on Friday night.
"So it'll be another good experience for the lads to play at Ewood."
Season Ticket Holders can see the game for free on production of their Season Ticket Card at the turnstiles.
General admission prices are £4 adults and £2 concessions.
Kick-off is at 7.00pm, the Jack Walker Lower tier will be open for this match.
