Jordan Rhodes is looking forward to see a few familiar faces when Rovers take on Huddersfield Town this Tuesday evening.
Rovers' record striker spent an enjoyable three years at the Yorkshire club before his £8m across the Pennines and comes up against his former club for the first time tonight.
"I'm really looking forward to it, I think it will be a good occasion," said Rhodes. "It will be good to go back and see familiar faces.
"They're a terrific bunch, supporters, staff, players, they've had a great start and I still nip back there and keep in touch with plenty of them so going back there will be nice.
"But it will only be a good night if we come back with a result and we'll try our best to go and do that."
Rhodes has promised not to celebrate is he scores against his former club, but he knows from experience that emotion might take over.
"I'll see how it is at the time but I'd like to think I wouldn't celebrate just out of respect to those at Huddersfield that helped me over those three years," added Rhodes.
"Against my Dad's teams whenever he's been goalkeeper coach I've tried not to celebrate but the game against Sheffield Wednesday last year I got a bit carried away at the end when I got a last minute equaliser so I won't say anything just yet but I'd like to think I wouldn't celebrate."
Tickets for this evening's game are now off sale at Ewood but will be on sale on the turnstiles at Huddersfield, cash only.
Tickets are priced at £25 for Adults, £15 for Students and over 60s, £10 for under 16s and £5 for under 8s.
