The club's record signing is likely to line up against the side where he started his footballing career when Rovers take on Barnsley in the 7.45pm kick-off.
Rhodes spent over four years at the Barnsley Academy from the Under-11 age group before joining Ipswich Town.
"I was there for four or five years as an Academy player at Barnsley so to play them on Tuesday will be very nice," said the 22-year-old.
"It'll be the second time that I'll have played against them, it is a fantastic club with fantastic facilities.
"So it is a game that I am very much looking forward to but they are a tough team now with Keith Hill and Dave Flitcroft in charge who I knew from my time at Rochdale.
"They've got a very good team and we've got to be right on our game tomorrow night to match them and to come away with some sort of result.
"I've got a couple of Barnsley fans in the family, my Uncle and my cousin, so maybe they'll come along."
Rhodes' two starts for Rovers have so far come on the road, so he is eager to make an impression on the his first Ewood appearance.
"It'll be nice to walk out on the Ewood Park turf," added Rhodes.
"It'll be fantastic to have a home game and the crowd right behind us and being top of the league it'll be great to get a result and stay up there.
"We've had a good start and that is all it has been, the challenge is now to build on that start and maintain the form that we've started with.
"Hopefully, against what will be a very tough Barnsley team, we can go to Ewood and have a good day and have a good result."
Fans can get the chance to see Rhodes in action at Ewood Park for the first time this Tuesday night when Rovers take on Barnsley in the 7.45pm kick-off.
