Scott Dann missed out for Rovers last time out, whilst Jordan Rhodes and Josh King both pulled out of international duty this week through injury.
But the trio have returned to training and providing there's no reaction all three could be back for the visit of the Addicks.
Rovers are further boosted on the injury front with the return to training of Dickson Etuhu and DJ Campbell, so they could also come into contention.
"Dickson has done really well this week in training, as has DJ," revealed the manager on Thursday.
"They are both in contention, certainly this weekend, but if not, then definitely next the next.
"Scott and Jordan have both come through training today. They both had niggles, Jordan's was enough to keep him out of the Scotland game but he's worked hard with the medical team so we are delighted that he is back in contention as is Scott.
"Obviously Grant is suspended and will sit out the next three games, but we've got Matt Kilgallon and I thought he was excellent on his full debut at Wigan.
"Now we've got the luxury of replacing Grant with Scott, that is the beauty of a competitive squad."
However that news is tempered with the manager revealing that Corry Evans will go for a scan today on an ankle injury picked up playing for Northern Ireland against Israel on Tuesday.
The midfielder was substituted after just 24 minutes in Tel Aviv after sustaining injury after a heavy challenge.
"It isn't good news for Corry, he went over on his ankle, but we'll know more after he has had a scan later today."
