The central midfielder limped out of the match at Brighton & Hove Albion last time out with a hamstring strain, but the break from league action has allowed Williamson to recover in time for this weekend's game against Reading.
"I'm ready, ready to go," Williamson told Rovers Player
. "I've got over my last little injury, it was a bit of a setback that I didn't finish the game but it is all over and done with now.
"If there's such a good thing as a good time then it was a good time for me, I was able to get it all sorted out."
A back injury sustained in pre-season sidelined the 31-year-old for the first month of the new campaign, before he a memorable, but short, return to action against Burnley in September.
Since then Williamson has had to bide his time, but now back in the squad, he feels that a successful season is well within Rovers' grasp.
"I've had to be very patient," added Williamson. "It is frustrating more than anything when you aren't in the squad, but the lads have been doing well, we've got a good squad now with the players coming back from injury and suspension.
"I think it is going to be a good season, if we steady the ship now and get a few decent games back to back anything can happen.
"We are not in a bad position at the minute, we're a few points off the top but we can regain points easily by stringing a few results together and we'll climb the table in to time."
