The young defender has been involved in all five matches since the Norwegian took charge and whilst Rovers haven't quite gained the points that performances have merited, Henley feels that there are promising signs from what he's seen so far.
"I feel it is starting to come together but it will take time," said the 18-year-old. "We can't expect to change just like that overnight and hopefully over the next few weeks we'll get more comfortable with it and start to see progress.
"In training every day there's progress in the team and hopefully that can continue.
"It is still early, but hopefully in the next few weeks we'll start to see a definite improvement in the team.
"In the last few games players are starting to understand more and play more and confidence comes from that.
"A team full of confidence is a team that will do well."
Rovers are back in action this Wednesday evening when Bolton Wanderers are the visitors to Ewood Park.
