Rovers make the short journey down the M55 looking to get back to winning ways against following the disappointing home defeat at the hands of Charlton Athletic.
The squad is getting stronger with each session, and it won't be too long before the Rovers boss is able to call on a near full compliment of staff.
"We are aiming for a positive outcome," said Bowyer on Thursday.
"The players have worked very hard in training and they are looking forward to the game.
"It has been a good week for us, Scott Dann has had another week of training, as has Jordan Rhodes and Josh King.
"DJ has had another good couple of sessions, as has Dickson Etuhu - who has looked very strong in training this morning - so he's not far away at all.
"David Dunn and Ruben Rochina were both out today so that is pleasing, they joined in some non-contact stuff so they are getting close, so we are near to getting some bodies back."
