Rovers Ladies picked up a hard-earned point away to Sporting Club Albion in their first game following the departure of manager Scott Rogers.
Under the stewardship of interim boss Andy Ramskill, Rovers dominated possession for long periods in the first half, without creating too many chances.
They were eventually rewarded just before the break when Beth Donoghue showed her pace and quality to beat the full-back down the flank, before firing the ball into the far corner.
Rovers battled hard against the wind after the interval to try and stop Sporting Club Albion from hitting back, but the hosts secured a share of the spoils courtesy of an equaliser midway through the second half.
Play was switched to the right hand side, where Ashleigh Neville looked to be offside, but she took a touch, before finding the far corner.
Rovers pushed for the winner, coming close on a couple of occasions from corners, but Rhiannon Roberts planted a powerful header just wide.
Ramskill said: “This was a positive result against a team that is third in the table, so it is a good platform for us to build on going into the last seven games.”
ROVERS: Jackson, Cox, Oates, Roberts, Twohig, Flynn (Weston 75), Westerman, Anderton (Boulton 65), Donoghue, Marsh, Savage (N. Forster 80).
