Danny Murphy says a run of wins in the league could provide the momentum needed to mount a realistic play-off challenge.

Murphy has been encouraged by the display shown in Rovers' last two outings and believes the bar has been set now in terms of performances, so now is the time to get results.

"I think the last two performances have been what we expect," the Rovers captain told Rovers Player.

"Both performances have showed good tactical awareness, good desire, good attitude, good quality.

"I've always believed that if your performance level stays high then the results will follow.

"We still have an opportunity now to try and push for the play-offs, we still feel as a group that we've got a chance even though we are a little way off.

"It is even more important that we focus on the good things we've done recently rather than look at the position we are in.

"It has been a good run and i think the lads are playing with a bit more confidence. Other than the Charlton game at home, which was a big disappointment for everyone, the form has been quite good.

"The lads are happy, there's a spring in the step of the lads, the atmosphere about the place is good."

Tickets for this afternoon's game will be on sale right up until kick-off priced from £15 for Adults, £10 for Seniors and £5 Juniors.
