Rovers Ladies keeper Krystal Parker picked up her third cap for Northern Ireland yesterday in an international friendly against Cameroon.

Northern Ireland had accepted an invitation to play against the ‘Indomitable Lionesses’, who are currently at a training camp in Aberdeen as part of their preparations for the London 2012 Olympics, which get underway on July 27th.

And it was the Olympic hopefuls who emerged victorious – midfielder Deborah Enganamouit Gaelle opening the scoring on 16 minutes, before Gabrielle Omgueme Aboudi sealed the win in injury time.

Krystal was the only goalkeeper selected in Alfie Wylie’s 16-player squad.
