After his impressive display in the 3-3 draw with Leeds United on Saturday, Markus Olsson has been named as one of the top performers for the week in the npower Championship.
The Swedish international claimed his first goal for Rovers and got an assist in laying on the pass that saw Nuno Gomes score in the 3-3 draw at Elland Road, something the 24-year-old feels he should do more of.
"For the first goal I got a good ball from Gamst and I was determined that I was going to go for goal because I've been thinking that I should finish more," admitted Olsson.
"So when I got the chance I looked up, saw a little space there and I tried to finish it.
"I know I can score goals, I need the right situation and I got one of those with my run, Gamst saw me and I just had to finish.
"The second goal I heard Nuno call for it so I cut it back, he is a good finisher and there was no problem there."
