Jack O'Connell and Raheem Hanley both started for England as they scored an injury-time equaliser in Tallin to draw 1-1 with the Ukraine.
Defender O'Connell played the full match whilst midfielder Hanley played for almost an hour as both England and the Ukraine progressed through to the Elite stage of the 2013 UEFA qualifiers.
The game looked to be heading towards a goalless draw in what was a closely-fought contest until the Ukraine's Vladyslav Pavlenko scored on 88 minutes.
That goal could have given Ukraine top spot and a coveted seeded place for the next stage of the qualification process, but deep into injury-time Everton's Hallam Hope got the crucial equaliser.
This means that England are one of the top seeds when the December draw takes place for the Elite round, qualification from that will mean England, and hopefully Hanley and O'Connell, will be in the finals in Lithuania next summer.
