The 47-year-old, from Darwen, has never won anything before in his life.
So he was delighted when his name was pulled out of a hat after hundreds of supporters had entered to win the Golden Ticket given away by the Lancashire Telegraph.
Michael, who works at Royal Blackburn Hospital, is now looking forward to attending all of Rovers’ Championship matches at Ewood Park this season.
He said: “I’m shocked, as I’ve never won anything in my life! Hopefully Blackburn will be a force this season and I’m looking forward to the Cardiff game.”
Rovers have given away 20 Golden Tickets for the 2014-15 campaign to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club’s Premiership title triumph in 1994-95.
The final Golden Ticket has been donated to Blackburn Youth Zone after the club announced an exciting partnership with the leading local youth charity earlier this week.
Julia Wright, Head of Business Development, was delighted to accept the Golden Ticket on the Youth Zone’s behalf.
