Directions to Ewood Park

Supporters travelling to and from Ewood Park throughout the season should be aware of road work and bridge work schemes that may affect their journey to the ground.

Bridge works continue at the railway bridge which crosses B6447, Hollin Bridge Street (next to the Havelock Public House), which means that there is a single lane traffic system in operation controlled by three way temporary traffic lights.

These bridge works will affect spectators travelling to and from Ewood Park from the direction of Buncer Lane and the Revidge areas of Blackburn.

The club has been advised that the lights will be manually operated during peak traffic flow times on match days to prioritise vehicles travelling towards or away from the ground but there may be some delays experienced and spectators are advised to be aware of this possibility.

Supporters travelling on the A677 towards Blackburn should note that there are gas main replacements at the junction of Yew Tree Drive and Preston New Road. The works are expected to last until October with tailbacks likely so please allow extra time if coming to Ewood from that direction.

In addition to the above there are long-term road works in the Ewood Park area which will affect spectators travelling to the ground.

Currently this involves temporary traffic signals to the south of the stadium at the junction of the A666, Bolton Road and Branch Road which can result in some slight delays at peak periods.

This approach to the stadium affects spectators travelling from junction 4 of the M65 via the A666 and those travelling through Lower Darwen towards the Ewood area.
