Under-21 striker Jamie Maclaren will take part in next years Under-20 World Cup after Australia qualified for the finals.
The Reserve-team forward has been with the Young Socceroos as they take part in the AFC Under-19 championships in the United Arab Emirates, and progression to the semi-finals of that competition has ensured entry to next year's FIFA tournament in Turkey.
Maclaren was an unused substitute as Australia overcame Jordan 3-0 to reach the last four of the AFC championships having already progressed through their group courtesy of a win over Qatar and draws against Syria and Saudi Arabia.
Australia now face Iraq in the semi-finals on Tuesday, the other semi sees Uzbekistan meet South Korea.
