Manager John Prince has brought in defenders Kelly McLellan and Felicity Middleton, along with striker Danni Young, as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the start of the 2013-14 season.
McLellan, 26, had been at City since under-10 level, Middleton, 22, was with Leeds for five years before becoming a Blue, while Young, 22, spent six seasons at City after joining from Manchester United.
“We are all delighted that they have agreed to join,” said the new Rovers boss. “All three will be pushing for a place in the starting XI. They are a good age, with experience, but with room for improvement.
“Kelly is a versatile and experienced full-back, who can operate on either flank. She is small, but tough. Felicity is a strong and quick defender, who can play at either centre half or right-back. Danni is a direct, skilful and pacy forward. She has superb stamina and will prove a real threat this season.”
