Nichol Forster scored her first two goals of pre-season, Katie Anderton showed her qualities with a fine strike and Amy Bland scored her second goal in as many games, as Rovers led 4-1 at the break.
Rovers made six changes at half-time, including the introduction of two Under-17 Centre of Excellence graduates. One of which, Chloe Adams, stole the show, scoring twice on her first outing for the senior side. Hannah Williamson also featured.
Hannah Forster made a welcome return from a long-term ankle injury and put in a good performance, as Rovers continued in the same vein. Evie Manning also got on the scoresheet, as Rovers romped to a convincing win.
New manager John Prince said: “It was a really good game. We played against a very young Blackpool side, who tried to get the ball down and play. It was a very good spectacle – two sides wanting to play the right way, building attacks from the back.”
