In a game in which the scoreline didn't tell the true tale of the match, it wasn't until the second half that Rovers finally found their goalscoring touch.
Against hardworking opposition, the new look ladies team saw plenty of the ball but couldn't turn their possession into chances in a tight first half.
However in the second period that was to change just five minutes in when a Vicky Westerman centre saw Sophie Jones bravely get in front of defender and goalkeeper to volley home the opening goal.
Just past the hour mark the lead was doubled, Amy Fleming providing the pass for Evie Manning who drove forward to fire home with an emphatic finish from 18-yards.
On 70 minutes Rovers made it 3-0. A great run from midfield by Lynda Shepherd saw her tee up Danielle Sheen to flick the ball home expertly, then a second for Sheen completed the victory, the forward lobbing the goalkeeper at the second attempt to make it a satisfactory evening.
"It was another positive performance," said coach Amanda Goodwin. "We are certainly going in the right direction.
"In the first half we weren't as good as we were on Sunday, but we certainly improved after the break.
"Scoring goals was our problem last year, but finding the net in pre-season is a good habit to have. It looks like we are moving forward."
Brighouse Town LFC are the Ladies' next pre-season opponents on Sunday 20th July.
