Rovers starlet Keira Walsh made her England Women’s Under-19 debut in an eight-goal thriller against Norway.

The 16-year-old was handed her first start for Mo Marley’s side, who battled back from two goals behind on three separate occasions to secure a dramatic 4-4 draw.

Keira, who didn’t feature in the 1-1 draw between the teams two days earlier, played 73 minutes for the Young Lions, who had joined up at St George’s Park for the training camp and international double-header.

England trailed 2-0 at half-time, before substitute Jess Carter pulled a goal back, only for Norway to restore their two-goal advantage in the 69th minute.

An own goal helped to reduce the arrears in the 71st minute, before the visitors added a fourth five minutes later.

However, Coral Haines hit back almost immediately and Katie Zelem completed the comeback in the third minute of added time.
