Michael Appleton has wasted little time in adding to his backroom staff with the arrival of John Keeley.

The vastly experienced goalkeeper has joined Rovers as the club's new goalkeeping coach.

The former Southend, Brighton, Oldham, Colchester and Stockport stopper was with the Rovers boss at Portsmouth and has linked up with Appleton once more.
