Colin Kazim-Richards can't wait to play his part in the East Lancashire derby later this Sunday.
The Rovers striker could be in line for a recall following his impressive display as a substitute against Bolton in midweek and he's very much looking forward to the game.
The Turkish international believes that the match against Burnley could be just the tonic Rovers need after two home losses, and it represents a chance to get back to winning ways to kick start the season.
"It is a Grade-A derby and I'm really looking forward to it," admitted the Rovers striker.
"I think it is what we need right now, I think this could kick on our season.
"I think this game is the best thing that could happen to us, it has come at the right time.
"It is derby day, you just have to win this game. It is two big teams going up against each other in a massive derby.
"We know that we have to win and if we do that then it can really kick on our season."
Kazim-Richards is no stranger to a derby or two having played for both Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray and also in Greece for Olympiakos, and he knows the importance of staying calm in the tense atmosphere.
"I've played in Galatasaray v Fenerbahce and Olympiakos v Panathinaikos so I've got some experience in derbies. I'm really looking forward to this.
"You have to say focused because sometimes too much adrenalin can get you sent off as you saw with Adebayor the other week.
"You have to stay focused but you have to enjoy it, these are the games that you want to play in, you have to enjoy it and then your best football will come out.
"When you've finished playing football these are the games that you remember.
