Promising defender Jack O'Connell has gone out on loan for the second time this season.
The 18-year-old centre-half has joined League Two side York City on a month-long loan deal having previously spent time with fellow League Two club Rotherham United, making 5 appearances.
A strong commanding centre-half, Jack had an outstanding first season with the club, making 35 appearances for both Academy and Reserves sides, playing a key role as Rovers reached the final of both the FA Youth Cup and the Academy League.
Those impressive displays have seen him captain the Reserve team, with the defender also earning international recognition having represented England's Under-18s and Under-19s with O'Connell included in the latest England Under-19 squad for their friendly against Denmark on February 5th.
Jack has signed in time to be in Gary Mills squad for their away match against Gillingham.
