Morris, who has been with the club after joining the Academy at the age of 13, made his senior debut back in November 2010, but it is only in recent weeks that he has had a consistant run in the first team.
The former England youth international had spells on loan with Yeovil and Rotherham in between but now Morris is delighted to be part of the action with Rovers.
"It is great, it is what I have dreamed of since I signed here at 13," Morris told Radio Rovers.
"The aim was to play in the first team, I had a taste of it a few years ago but for whatever reason it has come and gone.
"So it is great to finally play, it has been awesome, I just need to keep going, keep my head down and see where it takes me."
Morris was given the man of the match award last time out in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, his second half display was particularly impressive as he kept the Palace defence busy whilst at the same time quelling the threat of Wilfred Zaha.
Now as Rovers prepare to finish their campaign away at Birmingham, the 21-year-old wants to end the season with another positive result.
"The last few weeks our performances have been outstanding," added Morris.
"We want to win every football match but we know that Birmingham will be a tough place to go.
"We are safe and if we win we can go above them so that is the aim and see if we can get into the top half of the table and finish off strongly."
