Speaking at the launch of the club’s new home kit, the Scottish scoring sensation brushed aside speculation linking him with a summer move away from Ewood Park.
The former Huddersfield hot-shot, who netted 27 Championship goals in his debut season with Rovers, said: “For as long as I'm wanted here under the manager and the coaching staff, then I'll be here.
"I love coming to Blackburn Rovers. I love coming in every day. It is a fantastic environment, it has got great fans and a great stadium here and the team spirit is second to none.
"You can see with the players that the manager is bringing in that they are really good down-to-earth lads and we are going to have a really good team spirit this year.
"So it is something that I certainly want to be a part of, so as long as I'm welcome then you've got me.
"I thoroughly enjoyed my time last year and I thank the fans for their support. Thankfully we stayed up. We've put a line under it now and come August 4th we'll hit the ground running and try and give the fans a bit of optimism and something to shout about from the stands.
"I'm more than happy to be a Blackburn Rovers player. It is a privilege and I'm just delighted to be here."
