The Polish international, who turned 23 on Wednesday, secured a season-long loan move to Rovers from Belgium side KRC Genk on transfer deadline day, and now the young goalkeeper can't wait to press his claims.
"England is the best dream, many goalkeepers here are the best, you can test yourself and I think it is a very good place to improve," admitted Sandomierski.
"I was very excited when I heard of the interest and I am really happy to have the chance to sign to come here to this big club. When I heard of Blackburn's interest it was an easy decision to make, it is a good step.
"I've followed the Premier League and I've seen many games involving Blackburn and never thought that one day I would come here."
Sandomierski knows that there is healthy competition for places at Rovers, not only with number one Paul Robinson, but Jake Kean as well, but he will work hard to catch the manager's eye.
"Here the season is very very long, there are a lot of games so I think maybe I can get my chance," added Grzegorz. "I Have to work very hard and I will.
"Paul Robinson is a very good goalkeeper, I can learn a great deal from him as he has a lot of experience from both playing in the Premier League and with the England national team so I will try to learn as much as possible.
"I want to put pressure on every goalkeeper that is here, we cannot forget about all the other goalkeepers here.
"I respect everybody, I will do my best in every training session and try to get my position as soon as possible."
