Ankle ligament damage whilst on duty for Northern Ireland had restricted Evans to just six starts this term, but having returned to the starting line-up on Sunday, the Rovers boss is hopeful that the 23-year-old will stay injury free for the remainder of the season.
"It was good to see him back and he is going to get better and better for the games," said Bowyer.
"I thought he started brightly and did ever so well in the first half, then naturally, because he's coming back into it, faded a little bit, but he got his second wind and had another good go in the second half.
"So he'll be all the better for that game, if he plays on Wednesday then plays again on Saturday then he'll be back up and running and absolutely flying.
"So we've got a lot to be positive about it still. We've got 13 games, people coming back, people who are going to get stronger and ironically they'll be fresher coming into this run-in than some people who have played a lot of games."
See Evans and Rovers in action against AFC Bournemouth at Ewood Park this Wednesday night. Tickets are on sale up until the 7.45pm kick-off from £15 Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors.
