The Rovers striker spent three separate spells with the Seasiders, totalling two years, and after returning to action against Charlton Athletic last time out, Campbell is hoping to be involved against Blackpool later today.
"I want to be fit for an any game and I was delighted to be on the bench against Charlton even though we didn't get the result we wanted," said the striker.
"I had to pull the gaffer's arm to get myself on the bench for that game, so I was just delighted to be back.
"Now we have Blackpool away where it is a ground and a place that I had good memories at. I shared some good times there.
"I haven't actually been back there, so this will be the first time that I'll go back.
"That was the past and Blackburn is the future for me now, I want to do well for this club, I want to see the lads doing well for the gaffer who has been brilliant with me.
"So hopefully we can all do well for him and get back up where we all want to be."
