Boss Eric Black is confident that the players have put behind them the upheaval of the last few days to earn more points on the road.
Rovers are back in action this evening when they travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest and Black believes that the shock of Steve Kean's resignation won't affect his squad.
"It has been a busy few days for us," admitted Eric Black.
"We spoke to the senior players on Monday just to explain the way forward and they are happy, they have accepted that.
"We've moved on, football players are very resilient, they know what is required.
"We've a focused group of players that want to achieve the right things for the football club and from what I can see from the training that we have done they remain that way.
"I'll do my upmost to ensure that we keep the group focused and we try and maintain the start to the season.
"My role is to maintain and carry on that is the remit that I have been given.
"We'll go into the game against Nottingham Forest and hopefully we can come out with a good performance and some points."
Tickets for Wednesday's match will be on sale at Ewood Park until 2pm. Tickets will be on sale at the City Ground at a higher price on the evening of the match.
