It was an unlucky 13th cap for Grant Hanley as Scotland and Nigeria played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage on Wednesday evening.

After Charlie Mulgrew's clever flick from James Morrison's shot opened the scoring for the Scots after just ten minutes, the Rovers captain then saw a goal chalked off after he was adjudged to have fouled Nigeria goalkeeper Austin Ejide when heading home.

The World Cup bound Nigerians drew level just before the break when Michael Uchebo's shot deflected off Hanley to fly past Allan McGregor but Gordon Strachan's side restored their lead seven minutes into the second half when Mulgrew's shot deflected in off Azubuike Egwuekwe.

However in the final minute the Super Eagles grabbed an equaliser as Hanley failed to clear and Uche Nwofor swept the ball home.
