David Dunn has been announced as this campaign's Goal of the Season winner.

His last-gasp strike to ensure Rovers' 34 year unbeaten run over local rivals Burnley remained intact was the winner in this season's vote for the Peter White Memorial Trophy.

Rovers trailed 1-0 at Ewood heading into the 6th minute of added time until Cameron Stewart's pass found David Dunn inside the area and he steered the ball home to spark jubilant scenes from the home fans.

For Dunn, he always felt that he would score the crucial goal: "I don't think it was luck that it landed to me in the box, I thought it was fate and I was always going to score that."

Scott Dann's screamer against Derby County in the FA Cup came second, with Ruben Rochina's mazy run and finish away at Bristol City third.
