The centre-back is looking forward to facing his old club but is focused on getting Rovers another three points and ensuring the team finish as high up the table as possible.
"When the fixtures come out at the start of the season you look for certain fixtures and this is one I looked for and it happend to be on the last day of the season," Dann told Rovers Player
"So I'm looking forward to going back there, it is a good club and I had a good two years there, the fans were great."
Dann is relieved that there is nothing riding on the match at St. Andrews after Rovers all but ensured their Championship status the previous Saturday with a point against Crystal Palace.
"When we ended up in this position down at the bottom of the table we knew that we had to get it sorted as soon as possible and definitely before the last game of the season," added the Rovers captain.
"You don't want to be going into the last game of the season needing a result and needing other people to win or lose.
"Thankfully we have done that now and we can go and enjoy the game a bit more.
"We've had a couple of days off and the lads have come back in looking forward to the game on Saturday knowing that if we get the right result and get a win we can maybe shoot up into the top half if things go our way."
