England's young lions had to battle hard with ten men against Georgia on Friday night, Max Clayton rescuing a point after goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was sent off after just seven minutes for denying a goal opportunity outside the box.
The free-kick was subsequently converted by Georgia's Giorgi Pantsulaia but England responded before the break through the Crewe man.
Georgia went closest to sealing the points when they rattled the woodwork late on but Noel Blake's side held on for a share of the spoils.
Sunday's game against hosts Belgium would once again see England have to battle back for an important point.
Belgium looked in control after Thomas Foket had put the home nation in front before the half hour, but a last gasp free-kick deep into injury time saw Chelsea man Lewis Baker level.
The result means that the Group 6 table is wide open ahead of the final round of matches. Georgia top the group with four points from their two games, Belgium and England follow with two points a-piece, whilst Scotland are bottom with just a point.
England face Scotland on Wednesday whilst Georgia and Belgium go head to head.
The nation finishing top joins the six other group winners in the finals in Lithuania later this summer.
