Henning Berg wants Rovers to show the same battling qualities displayed against Burnley when they take on Cardiff City on Friday night.

The Rovers boss felt the performance against the near-neighbours last Sunday was an improvement on the previous match - the loss to Bolton Wanderers.

Now as Rovers prepare to face Cardiff City at Ewood Park, Berg wants more of the same against the league leaders.

"Against Bolton last week we weren't happy with that at all," said Berg. "So for me to see the commitment and attitude against Burnley was a big step-up from the Bolton game.

"It was a massive change, we were a little bit more direct, not as nice playing football, but we were fighting and competing for everything.

"That is what you need to do in this league, that is number one every time we play, we have to have that attitude and we have to learn that.

"We have to make sure that we mix the football in as well and get enough chances for Jordan or any other players to score."

Tickets for Friday's 7.45pm match will be on open sale up until kick-off with prices starting from £15 for Adults, £10 for OAPs and £5 for Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk
