Caution over Killa

Posted: Wed 12 Mar 2014

Rovers will assess various bumps and bruises before selecting a squad for this evening's Ewood Park clash against AFC Bournemouth.

Defender Matt Kilgallon is making good progress from a groin strain, whilst David Dunn, who left the field on Sunday with cramp will be assessed.

Aside from those two Gary Bowyer is expected to name a similar line-up with Josh King and Tom Cairney still a way off returning.

Speaking on Tuesday, manager Gary Bowyer said: "Kilgallon we'll assess more tomorrow morning.

"There was a little bit of cramp setting in with Dunny, so we have to be careful with him and make the decisions to make sure that he is fit for the remaining 13 games.

"Cairney is still recovering from his ankle which is a blow for us, whilst Josh is making steady progress."
