Danny Murphy is back training following a hamstring strain.

Blackburn Rovers could welcome back Danny Murphy for Saturday's visit of Brighton & Hove Albion to Ewood Park.

The Rovers captain hasn't featured for the first team since sustaining a hamstring strain after the draw against Burnley. But after missing the defeats to Cardiff City and Blackpool he could return to action.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's match, boss Henning Berg admitted: "We have concerns over one or two players.

"Danny Murphy trained today so we'll see how he is tomorrow, but he ended today's training session fine so he could be on his way back.

"David Dunn is coming on, he's been in light training so this is maybe the first proper week that he has had training. So it is good to have him back training with everybody full time.

"Fabio Nunes got injured last week in training before the Blackpool game."

Mauro Formica is still absent, but Markus Olsson, who missed Saturday's match at Bloomfield Road through illness, is available once more.

Tickets for the match against Brighton are on open sale right up until kick-off. Priced from £15 for Adults, from £10 Seniors and from £5 Juniors.

Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
