Gary Bowyer wants Rovers to end the season in style by defeating Birmingham City.

WIth Rovers all but safe from the dreaded drop the Rovers boss wants to finish the 2012-13 campaign with another win on the road, to finish in the top half and to see Jordan Rhodes become the league's top scorer.

Rovers go into Saturday's match at St. Andrews boosted by the win over Millwall and the draw against Crystal Palace and now Bowyer wants to make it three unbeaten.

Speaking on Thursday the manager said: 'We are going to Birmingham in good spirits off the back of the win at Millwall and a pleasing performance against play-off hopefuls Crystal Palace.

"We want to finish the season unbeaten in our last three games which will give us something to go into next season with.

"We've a chance to finish above Birmingham if we beat them, we've a chance to finish as high as 11th and we've also got the chance of hopefully providing Jordan Rhodes with the opportunity to finish the league's top goalscorer. Then we've got professional pride as well.

"Hopefully we'll have a massive following because it is the final game of the season, it looks like it will be a nice day. So hopefully we'll be backed with a good following and there'll be some fancy dress costumes to have a look at at the end of the game as well."

The Rovers boss knows that it won't be an easy match against the Blues, but with the chance of a top half finish, he wants his side to give their all.

"It is their last home game and their fans will demand that they finish the season properly and I know that Lee Clark will demand that they finish the season properly," added Bowyer.

"We are the same, we've got targets for this game and we'll be going out to achieve that."
