Caretaker boss impressed with debut display of Todd Kane.

Gary Bowyer has delighted with the performance of debutant Todd Kane in Rovers' 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday night.

The 19-year-old full back had joined the club earlier in the week as cover for the injured Adam Henley and he didn't disappoint at Molineux.

"Todd Kane's debut was brilliant," said Bowyer after the game.

"He's come in and performed magnificently and showed you what a good player he is.

"Going forward he possesses a threat and when he let rip with his left my mind went back to the goal he scored against us a couple of years ago but it wasn't to be this time.

"A lot of people would have been wondering a little bit about who he is but I think tonight he has shown what he is.

"We can't thank Chelsea enough for letting us have him but I think everybody at Chelsea will be just as delighted as we are by his performance."

Rovers and Kane will be back in action this Saturday when Charlton Athletic are the visitors to Ewood Park.

Tickets are on open sale and available from just £15 for Adults, £10 for Seniors and £5 Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk
