Rovers' medical team will assess the injury sustained to Jake Kean during Monday's loss to Cardiff City.

The 22-year-old had to be stretchered off ten minutes into the second half at the Cardiff City Stadium after sustaining a knee injury.

Kean left the ground wearing a knee brace and the goalkeeper is expected to go for a scan on Tuesday.

"Losing Jake was a bit of blow to us," said boss Gary Bowyer after the match.

"He'll be assessed by the medics and hopefully we'll get some good news.

"We'll know more as we go on, hopefully it isn't too bad."
